This Fire Prevention System was patented in 2009.
Current competitors are sprinkler systems and gas systems mostly FM-200.
Gas systems today are ozone depleting, toxic, and environmentally unfriendly.
The toxic effects make them unsuitable for use in human occupied spaces.
The production of carbon monoxide, benzene, sulfur, formaldehyde, ammonia, hydrogen cyanide by fires in modern environments creates a lethal environment.
Carbon monoxide which is lethal in concentrations of less than one percent is responsible for most deaths by suffocation.
To avoid damage by water sprinklers many companies have looked at gas extinguishing systems.
Automatic gas extinguishing, however, has not proved ideal because it requires evacuation and air tight enclosures.
Gas systems are prone to failure because they involve multiple sub-systems to detect fire.
A fire must first occur before system is activated usually two minutes.
Water takes 9 minutes to activate system while a fire rages.
